Sacremental

Apparently sacremental is an object or practice the mediates the divine to humans. It's not a very Protestant word, so I just learned it.

I guess worship would be us giving honor to God. And Sacrement is God letting us expeirience something of his goodness.

For instance - last summer - I didn't go to church for 6 weeks because I was in a small town in Quebec. However - I had two very sacremental expieriences.

1. - Dancing to a Samba drumming group for 6 hours straight. I felt like that was what heaven was going to be. Dancing to Samba and smilling ear to ear at my friends.

2. - Going to Cirque de Soliel and expieriencing saturated creativity and smiling like school children with my friends

And since this awareness that these types of things can be sacremental has come to me - I find myself smiling and remembering God more often in other things.

Other times I expierience the divinity of God : This is my list of the sacremental

- Going through a really great art exhibit
- Painting
- Lightning and Thunder Storms are fantastically sacremental
- Mountains
- Breaking surf on rocks
- Saskatchewan Skies
- Big City Lights/Down Towns at night
- A really good cup of coffee with friends
- driving in my car to really great music and singing at the top of my lungs
- expieriencing a really hot day after a long winter
- The smell of rain on dirt
- The smell of growing things in spring
- music that can make your spine tingle
- Chocolate
- Places where there are big groups of people - especially when there are punks, goths, emos, skaters, artsies, and people from a variety of backgrounds. I love mixes like that. I find it beautiful and creative.
-Comfortable silence in the presense of those I love
- getting the giggles
- going down a hill really fast on a bike
- skydiving
- A night of good conversatio
