Doors, Semis, and Canola fields

So - yeah.... there's a title to grab ya. Well it all began when my mom came to town from Bolivia. I cleaned the garbage from my car and even had air conditioning recharged.

So we're driving along to Saskatoon and we're about 20 minutes from Lloydminster and we see these beautiful canola fields. Well my mom comments on how Dad would love to see them.

So I pull over - all the way over - off the highway. I shut my door. We take the picture. We get back in. (and keep in mind - safety first - I'm not totally opening my door completely)

Well then a semi truck drives by and the wind suction takes my door and swings it unhealthily too far open. We hear a horrible crack and my mom and I look at each other like the door is about to fall off.

Well, the door didn't fall off, but there was a disconcerting grinding noise when I shut it. So I had to keep getting out on the passenger side.

So when I went to do the wedding pictures on Saturday morning, I started out at Tracy's parent's house to take pictures of the girls getting ready.

Well, Mr. Ens fixed the door enough so that it would shut with out grinding against the front panel. But the front panel is still all bent in and the door no longer seals so I can hear wind when I'm driving. :(

But it sucks, it now needs autobody work. I'm sad.
